Why on earth would anyone travel to Texas in the middle of July?!! Maybe because it’s awesome!
We’ve been to Texas before, Dallas to be exact, but had never been to New Braunfels (You always need to try new things right?!). We didn’t realize how big this state was until we really explored each city! From Dallas, to Waco (Go Baylor!) to Austin, each has it’s own unique sights and sounds!
For those of you who have never heard of this town, it’s between San Antonio and Austin. We stayed in a river house which kept the breeze flowing and made for tons of fun activities including floating the river! We never understood how people could just ….float…. But now we totally get it! It’s crazy relaxing and super fun with friends (and a little canned wine never hurt anyone either). Besides the major sunburn, it was a highlight of our trip. The remainder consisted of exploring the San Antonio Riverwalk, visiting Waco (Shout out to the INCREDIBLE Magnolia store + Bakery), discovering new shops and looking for air conditioning anywhere we could find it! haha
The architecture along the river walk was stunning! This one in particular reminded us of Tuscany.
There were so many of these awesome bridges and the entire walk was windy with something new around every corner.
We had such a great time visiting the great state of Texas and can’t wait to head back…maybe when it’s a little cooler. haha
